As an Indiana-based writer, editor, graphic artist, and personal historian, I find nothing more rewarding than telling people’s stories and creating their legacy books.
While I was a staff writer/editor for a central Indiana, hometown newspaper, I specialized in writing feature stories about seemingly “ordinary” people — their victories, their darkest moments, their turning points, their hopes and dreams, their achievements, and their crowning glories. I felt deeply honored that they trusted me to tell their remarkable stories and even won some awards with those stories, but I never lost sight of the fact that the recognition
belonged to the people profiled. Every one of them validated what should have been obvious — that each life is unique and extraordinary, worthy of telling and worthy of preserving.
When I discovered an association of personal historians, I immediately knew I’d found my calling. Becoming a personal historian represented the perfect alignment of all the skills I had developed over the past 30 years. All I needed was to carve out my niche. Life Sentences Publishing is that niche.
Please explore my website for detailed information about the various ways you and I can work together to tell your story ... and to preserve it for today and for all time.
